Beware of direct selling company : Techligent Sdn Bhd - at Queensbay Mall

Last month my friends was conned by Techligent Sdn Bhd (19 Dec'06), the incident starts at Queensbay entrance at Bayan Lepas and their office at Jalan Prai, Bayan Prai Jaya,13700 Seberang Tengah, Btwth..

They approached him for lucky draw of winning the grand prizes such as Perdana V6, Samsung flat screen tv, massage chair worth RM8000 or cash Rm4000. Before he could open the lucky draw voucher, they pursuaded him to sign an agreement and pay RM3980. They claimed that he had BIG chances to win Perdana V6. So, my friends had signed the agreement & settle with credit card. End up, after he open the voucher, it was massage chair.

He refused to accept the goods & ask for refund back immediately, but they threathen me that the agreement he signed was legal. So, he had no choice to accept and bring back their product ( massage chair, Exercise & slimming belt). , and they claimed the goods is worth RM8000.

After he came back, my friends realised that he is being cheated, so he called up the sales girl that we would like return the goods, but he was rejected. However, after negotiated, the sales gal give him one supplier contact number,

Said that maybe he would like re-purchase the goods from you. After contact with supplier, he had intent to re-purchase the massage chair with RM4000 ++. Oh..Thanks God !! Unfortunately the supplier is at outstation, and will only come back after 2 weeks. Actually this is one of their trick to entertain & delayed his complaint.

Finally my friends report the case to police & consumer department, found that actually many people is being cheated by the same company. However, the company still operate as normal, and no action legal being taken to the unectical company.

Techligent Sdn Bhd

They are operating the same tactics, and their targetting consumer is from Banks, Supermaket, and any financial institution. They are doing the same direct selling tactic in Penang, KL & JB as well.
